Submit your essay and poems (no more than 800 words), photographs/photo-essay or illustration and join UNFPA in creating discussions about gender-based violence and reproductive health and rights.
Show us what comes to your mind when you reflect on ‘What Love is Not’ in the context of gender based violence and reproductive health and rights. Unleash your creativity to illustrate your views in any of the three mediums listed, and in English, Sinhala or Tamil.
The best entries will be published on the kiyanna.lk blog and UNPFA reports and publications with due credit to the author, photographer and artist.
The top three contributions will receive a token gift pack from the UNFPA as well.

Terms and conditions
By entering this Competition, you agree to the below Terms and Conditions:
ARTICLE 1: Objective of the Competition
1.1 The Competition is organized by UNFPA Sri Lanka and is part of the UNFPA campaign to create discussions on gender based violence and sexual reproductive health and rights.
1.2 All entries to the Competition must be inspired by the themes of gender-based violence and sexual health and rights. Entries deviating from the above shall be automatically disqualified. The Area of Concern addressed in the contribution must be specified when emailed.
ARTICLE 2: Terms of participation
2.1 To enter the Competition, you must email your entry to firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com. Only those entries emailed to the designated email addresses will be accepted. Entry is free. The competition is open to everyone; of all ages.
2.2 You may enter up to three contributions.
2.3 You must enter your contribution(s) by midnight 20th February 2016. Late entries will not be accepted.
2.4 Your email should include your name, age and one line bio which we can share when publishing your posts on Kiyanna.lk or UNFPA reports and publications.
2.5 The best entries will be selected by a judging panel of at least four members. The decisions of the jury are final and binding.
2.6 All finalists will be notified by e-mail after the judging is complete. If you receive a notification e-mail from UNFPA, you must respond to the notification e-mail to accept your prize. If UNFPA does not receive a response from you within seven days of the notification, UNFPA reserves the right to reallocate the prize to another participant.
2.7 Names of the finalists will be publicly announced on the Kiyanna.lk blog.
2.8 The UNFPA reserve the right to cancel, modify, suspend or delay the Competition in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond their reasonable control. UNFPA reserves the right to change, amend, delete or add to these Terms and Conditions at any time.
ARTICLE 3: Copyright
4.1 The copyright in any submitted contribution(s) shall remain the property of the entrant, but entry in this Competition constitutes entrant’s approval for UNFPA to publish the entry on the kiyanna,lk blog, reports, publication and any other material. UNFPA shall have the right to edit, adapt, and modify the submitted work.
